"Founded by L. Ron Hubbard, the Scientology religion attempts to explain the origin of negative spiritual forces in the world and advances techniques for improving one's own spiritual well-being. Scientologists believe that most human problems can be traced to lingering spirits of an extraterrestrial people massacred by their ruler, Xenu, over 75 million years ago. These spirits attach themselves by "clusters" to individuals in the contemporary world, causing spiritual harm and negatively influencing the lives of their hosts." - Judge Leonie Brinkema; US DISTRICT COURT, EASTERN DISTRICT OF VIRGINIA, Alexandria Division, Civil Action No 95-1107-A

Now, before the advent of the Information Superhighway, the only way you found out about Xenu was to reach the highest levels within the organization, at which time the "secret documents" were disclosed to you on a boat on the high sea. (At this point you were hopefully brainwashed beyond belief and wouldn't have difficulty accepting what you were reading.)
The CoS actually tried to "sue the Internet" at one point, I believe, after ex-members began posting stories about their experience. Why people STILL join up is beyond me, but there's a "center" right on Nicollet Mall if you're interested. :-|

I just thought it might be funny to own one...
I discovered that the more "high end" E-meters actually have an Intel chip for some reason. Maybe you can play Minesweeper on it?
It WORKS, Napoleon -- you don't even KNOW!
It's even cooler now that I can hear your and lonelydoll's voices as I read these comments.
