Well, not quite. But sources say the album's actually finished and just awaiting its release date. Other sources indicate it's now the first in a "trilogy" of albums, which is pretty damned hysterical.

Anyway, I casted my ballot for my Preferred Candidate! It was actually super easy; however, it's a good thing I got there early. I found the registration table for my precinct around 6:15 p.m., and there were maybe 10 people in front of me. But then after voting I turned around and the line was MASSIVE -- I woulda been stuck there all night. On my way out there was a grumpy old geezer getting all pissy and saying stuff like, "C'mon, keep moving! There're people trying to get through, damnit!" The lady behind me's like, "I sure hope he's not in OUR precinct." It was good for a laugh.

The most logistically imposing part of the evening was actually getting OUT of there. All the streets were packed with cars by the time I left, and everyone was driving in a very confused fashion. Man, I thought *I* was bad at parallel parking 'till I watched a buncha St. Louis Park residents all trying to do it. Thing is -- you never NEED to parallel park around here, you know?

[info]lonely_doll just called with a report from Minneapolis -- sounds like there was a good turnout over there as well! Honestly, I've never been to one of these things, so I couldn't tell you whether the turnout was good or not. Anyway, it's all pretty exciting and stuff.
