Awesome article about one of the greatest games of all time. Also, this reminds me that I need to order The King of Kong.

One of my earliest vacations was a trip to Florida when I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade. I don't typically remember stuff that happened last week, let alone that long ago, but one of the most vivid memories I have is of finding a Crazy Kong machine in the hotel game room. I also remember playing Berserk in an arcade with my uncle Gary, who was stationed down in Florida at the time. But the Epic Center? I don't remember a DAMN THING. (Well, really vague memories of "future world" or whatever it's called...)

Sometimes I leave Donkey Kong running on my old PC (via MAME) as a screensaver 'cuz it's comforting. And now, thanks to technology, I'll have one more game before turning in. Who knew the future was gonna be so awesome??
