GLAM!

I guess I don't necessarily agree with putting some of these bands under "glam," but it's definitely a good trip down memory lane. And I think it's certainly true that all of the early 70s bands were a direct influence on all the 80s "hair" bands. Here's another fun site:

Is this fabulous (Y/N)?

Okay, I've got my outfit for the New York Dolls show all figured out -- here's the details, 'cuz y'all care:

Pink and white pinstriped pants -- I found these at TJ Maxx for $15. What never ceases to amaze me is the original price on some of this stuff. They're like fancy Italian designer pants that originally sold for $120 -- who would ever pay that much?! They're basically kind of HIDEOUS, for crissake!

Black Skechers boots -- I've had these forever, but the sole was coming off one of 'em and I just got it fixed. They've got about a two inch heel, which is the biggest one I've ever personally found on a boy's shoe. And I'm only six feet tall, so I can really use that extra couple of inches... :-P

Black leather motorcycle jacket with a plain black T-shirt ('cuz this outfit is already ridiculous enough without adding a goofy shirt to the mix...)

Pink boa from Ragstock.

I figure it'll either look fabulous or I'll look like a pink and black nightmare. If I'm SUPER LUCKY, David Johansen will be like, "Hells yeah -- that guy's got some crazy style!!"
