I think I'm actually no longer even tempted by the junk food machine I decided to never use again as a retroactive resolution for 2008. I was just looking at it and nothing seemed remotely appetizing. Also, I had a bunch of dollar bills left over from the weekend so I put them all in the change machine and now I has laundry money. Clean laundry = win. Overly-priced empty calories = fail.
lonely_doll looked SO HOT Sunday night in her pink angora sweater and pink and black patterned tights. *SWOON*
Looks like it's time to go microwave my lunch!!
That is all.

So back on the 11th I realized that I hadn't bought any junk food out of the vending machine all year and therefore made a retroactive resolution not to do so for the remainder of the year, right? The easiest way to do this is to just never have any cash in my wallet.
So I happen to have a $5 and a $10 on me today, and there's a change machine that'll take 'em, right? I made it 'till almost lunch and then decided to throw in the towel and get some change with the $5. What "saved" me is the change machine's not working. Therefore, I did not break my resolution.
Or did I?
I had fully INTENDED to break my resolution and was only stopped by a broken change machine. If you break the resolution in your head but not IRL, couldn't you argue that you've broken it?
